Have some questions? These are some of our frequently asked questions.
- Is there a difference between indoor and outdoor wood? All wood can be used for indoor purposes. You only want to use Foley Seal for outdoor purposes on wood like oak, poplar, cherry, maple, and pine. If you are unsure whether or not you will you the board indoor or outdoor, send us an email! We will be able to talk you through the intended uses and what we would recommend.
- Why does some wood cost more than others? Since we only use locally sourced wood, some of these wood types are subject to additional charges. These wood types are: cherry, walnut, and hickory.
- What is a keyhole and why is it extra on custom cribbage boards? Keyholes are typically used for mounting/displays. Every one of our custom flag boards come with a keyhole at no additional cost while a cribbage board, which can be hung/displayed like art, will incur an additional fee.
- What is the design fee for? Our custom cribbage boards may have a design fee contingent upon design complexity. Everything is designed from scratch - difficult designs may be subject to additional fees.
- Why is checking my email important? We work directly with our customers to ensure they get exactly what they ask for. We only send you emails to confirm your purchase, ask clarifying questions about the order, and to send you a rendering of the initial design before moving forward. This is also because of the simple fact that we are human and errors can happen, so this way we can complete everything thoroughly.
- What's the size of the stadium boards? Our stadium boards are 9 1/2 x 12 1/4 x 1 3/4
- Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered? Absolutely! All of our products are available for both pick-up and delivery. If you would instead like to pick-up your order, please send us an email or write this within your order details.
- How long does it take to make one(1) board? Typically it takes 3-5 days depending on backlog. However, we do keep you updated on the process and give you a good idea of when you should be receiving the product.
